Shannon + Will

Wellies served as gifts for the bridesmaids!  Althought they didn’t wear them during the wedding, these boots did come in handy when there were many drinks spilled on the dance floor towards the end of the reception!

Adorable customized flasks were the gifts for the groomsmen – a lovely idea, I thought…

I love the way they transformed the ballroom of The Driskell Hotel.  The draping and the screens on the panels (making them look like windows), was really beautiful and a unique attention to detail.

Check back tomorrow for a second post from this wedding.  It will be chock-full of details!

What happens when you take 5 little girls and 3 little boys and make them flower girls and ring bearers?  A lot, actually.  Although it was impossible to get them all in a photo together, they actually did a pretty good job!  But first there will be the donning of adorable Mexican dresses, obligatory bed jumping and squealing, wedding dress gazing and other adorableness…

Cute, right?!?  This wedding is chock full of style and design.  I love the paper flower wreaths on the girls’ heads and the boys’ monogrammed shirts.  Wait until you see the rest.  It’s pretty drool-worthy!

Hope you’re having a super Wednesday,

Emma & Simon – first post

So…I love this wedding.  A LOT.  Emma and Simon were married in Emma’s parent’s house in Austin’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood.  The ceremony took place in the backyard with a well-loved garden as their only backdrop.  After the ceremony, they walked down to the end of the block where the reception was held.  Those pictures are coming tomorrow.  If you love wedding and design, you’ll not want to miss it.
Stay tuned….
